Privacy and Confidentiality Policy

    The Resume Shop, INK uses the information provided by the customer solely for the purpose of creating a resume, and does not share such information with any other third party for any reason whatsoever, unless required by law or in accordance with express permission granted by the customer in writing. All the names, contact information, and other information used in the sample resumes on website and in marketing materials are fictional. In testimonials, personal information is provided with the consent of the persons involved. Click here for our comprehensive privacy policy.

Completion of Worksheets & Supplemental Materials

    As required to produce a resume (or other documents as specified in the invoice, email correspondence, etc.), the client agrees to complete the Resume Worksheet, Worksheet Addendum, LinkedIn Questionnaire, and/or other worksheets or otherwise supply all of the information deemed necessary by me to complete the project. The client assumes the total responsibility for supplying all of the information required for writing the documents and understands that failure to provide requested information in a timely manner will likely result in delays in completion of the project. All projects are written in the order that completed files are received. The client agrees to complete the Resume Worksheet, Worksheet Addendum, LinkedIn Questionnaire, and/or other worksheets or information requests within 30 calendar days of securing the services of The Resume Shop, INK and/or remitting payment for services. Failure to complete the worksheets and/or supply the necessary information within 30 days will result in forfeiture of the right to services. Refunds will not be issued for forfeited services. We may, at our sole discretion, complete the project for the client as an act of good faith as time permits. However, in such circumstances, we make no promises or guarantees with respect to timelines/deadlines for completion of the documents.

Refund Policy | Cancellation of Services

    Due to the nature of the highly customized services rendered by The Resume Shop, cancellation of services for a refund of fees paid is not possible in most circumstances. Requests for cancellation of services and full refund must be made in writing (email or written correspondence; text messages will not be considered written notice) within 2 business days of executing the service agreement and/or remitting payment for services, whichever occurs first. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to honor or reject cancellations made anytime following the second business day after execution of the agreement for a partial refund. Any work completed on behalf of the client will be charged at a rate of $75 to $100 per hour and will be deducted from fees received before a refund is issued. Refunds for services cancelled within two business days of execution of the agreement will be processed within 7 to 10 business days. All other refunds will be processed within 30 calendar days from receipt of written request.
